Summer Tournament

With the League season nearly at an end, players' attention will switch to the Ulster Chess Union Summer Tournament. Last year the usual venue at Civil Service was not available to the UCU and we were fortunate that at the last moment the North Belfast Chess Club stepped in to the breach.

After lengthy negotiations by UCU Board Member Geoff Hindley, we are able to return to the Maynard Sinclair Pavilion this summer. The tournament is scheduled to run every Wednesday evening from 5th May to 29th September, except for the week of the UCU AGM (likely to be held on 2nd June at North Belfast).
